Due to reports of a falling out, the internet has been focusing on the interactions between Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh, while Styles and Pine have also been included in the drama. After arriving to the events in Venice apart, Styles and Wilde have also come under scrutiny.

Users of Twitter and TikTok have been concentrating on a video of Styles and co-star Pine sitting down for a screening of Don’t Worry, Darling. Styles allegedly “spits” on Pine as Pine moves to sit down, which causes the Star Trek star to react with shock. People have debated whether or not the event occurred as the moment has been examined from several perspectives.

Journalist Matt Ramos shared the offensive video on Twitter and questioned, “Did Harry Styles just spit on Chris Pine? The video has received millions of views on social media in a variety of formats. “The perfect reply of a man who knows he can’t do anything in public,” Ramos said of Pine’s response.

Meecham Whitson Meriweather, a writer residing in New York, appeared enraged on Pine’s behalf. “I fight like I’m completely prepared. That defies belief. One of the worst things you can do is spit on someone, “said he.

@korysverse tweeted a brief clip of the alleged spitting incident and stated: “Someone needs to start a full fledged investigation into what happened on that Don’t Worry Darling set.” “Wdym Harry Styles spitting on Chris Pine on NATIONAL TELEVISION?” they continued.

@youmeandchisme analysed the situation on TikTok and stated: “I can plainly see it. Chris Pine gets insulted by Harry Styles.” The user praises Pine’s in-the-moment reaction as being “in a humorous, cool, Chris Pine kind of manner.”

Styles and Pine’s interaction gave rise to yet another angle, which some felt provided even more damning proof.

Ramin Setoodeh, co-editor in chief of Variety, also witnessed Styles taking his seat but didn’t mention the alleged spit at the time. Others reshared the video because it showed Styles nodding with his head while sitting toward Pine.

Later, in response to the purported incident, Setoodeh said: “The Sala Grande, the location of the premiere, does not have any garbage cans, either in the foyer or on the mezzanine where these seats are. Therefore, if you were chewing gum, there would be nowhere for it to go.”
